“I’m a developer, not a gamer” – the best advice I’ve ever received

A few weeks ago, I took a break from my job as a software developer and started learning more about the world of video games.

At the time, I was living in a rented house in the northern suburbs of Melbourne and was working with a small team to bring my own game to life.

I started to realize that my hobby wasn’t going to end up with me sitting at a desk for a while.

At some point, I decided that I would take a break and get to know my game.

I spent a lot of time playing games, and I realized that I wasn’t a gamer.

I thought it was a waste of time and time again, but then, I realized I was wasting a lot more time playing a game than actually playing it.

I decided to take a look at my personal gaming history, and my goals for the future.

In the process, I also learned a lot about how to develop and market a game.

The process wasn’t easy.

It was a little overwhelming, and while I was still struggling with my own self-esteem issues, I figured that I could at least figure it out.

I was right. 

The process of finding out that I’m a “developer, not an gamer” is actually a good sign that your work and your career are in good shape.

The more you know about yourself and your goals, the easier it will be to set goals that are attainable.

I’ve already started to implement some of my goals and work towards building my business, but now it’s time to take some time to figure out how I can do it myself. 

 A few weeks later, I finally found the motivation to put my game together.

I had no idea how hard it would be to make a game, and in the beginning, it was hard to see myself as a game developer at all.

I felt like I was just a hobbyist who was trying to make the best of a bad situation.

But now, I’m an experienced game developer who has developed and sold several successful games.

I also feel like I have the experience and knowledge needed to develop games for other people.

If I were to give a quick lesson on how to become a developer myself, I would recommend this short video on GameMaker Studio: Learn How to Make a Game.

You’ll learn the fundamentals of GameMaker, as well as how to build a basic game with simple rules.

The video covers the basics of creating a game like a shooter, a platformer, and a platform game.

You can learn the basics in this video as well, but it’s worth watching it because it’s a good place to start.

It was a huge learning curve.

I went through a lot before I finally had the tools to make my first game.

For example, my initial prototype for the game was an ugly mess.

I struggled to get the controls working and I didn’t know how to make it look realistic.

But, I knew I could get the game working on a PC.

And, the game worked on a PlayStation.

I started out by making a game with just three basic elements.

The game was basically a shooter.

I created the basic camera, which was a 3D camera with a mouse and keyboard.

The basic controls were a joystick and a trigger.

The trigger was the main trigger for the gun, which shoots bullets that bounce off of the ground.

The gun would also fire bullets that were fired off of objects like walls and other things.

The player could also shoot back at enemies.

The bullets would bounce off enemies and damage them.

I ended up with an FPS that was playable, but I was only able to make one prototype before I had to start working on the full game.

It took me three years to make that game. 

I’m not saying I was perfect, but my first attempt at a game was pretty good.

 The next step was to figure how to get a game out of my head.

I didn the first time around because I was scared of failure.

I’d never made anything before, and at that point, the goal was to try and get a lot out of it.

After several failed attempts, I started trying different games to see if I could make something better.

I realized then that if I was going to make something I was interested in, I had better be able to keep it from becoming a complete mess.

This was a pretty big hurdle, but eventually I made it work.

The next step for me was to find out how to sell it to the world.

My first real sale came from a local indie game store called The Game Factory.

They had a game called The Unnatural that was coming out in September.

I bought it for $5.

The GameFactory store also has a similar game called Inversion, which is coming out next month.
