Actors Aaron Paul, Paul Rudd and Kevin Hart have all been arrested in the US and UK, according to news reports.
The arrests came as the show’s producers were working on a deal to renew their contract.
The cast, who include Paul Rudd, James Franco, Amy Poehler and Jonah Hill, were arrested in Miami on Monday.
“We’re still in shock and praying for the safety of our loved ones,” the cast told the Associated Press, adding that they had been advised to not travel to the US.
Rudd, a producer of the ABC show, is one of the actors who has been arrested.
He was released on bail in March, and was arrested again last month after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Rumblings of a possible return to the show started last month when a tweet by actor Jeremy Renner, who plays Renner in the show, suggested that they could return to write episodes.
Rudd and co-creator Michael Schur, who also wrote the show with Renner and his producer, are set to return to executive produce the fifth season, which is set to air in 2018.
ABC also announced that the show will be coming back in the second half of 2019, but that the producers would be staying on as executive producers.
Paul Rudd and James Franco were arrested and taken into custody in March for allegedly threatening to kill people in the UK.
Franco has not been charged in connection with the arrest in Miami, but has since been released on $250,000 bond.
Rud and Hill are both expected to appear in court on Friday to face charges of criminal trespass and making terroristic threats. (H/T: AP)
