An Indonesian woman has been arrested on charges of trafficking a narcotic substance, a police report has said.
Marta Suryaratnam, 42, has been charged with possession of cannabis, the report said on Wednesday.
The police officer investigating Marta Surota was informed by the drug trafficking investigation unit that Suryara had been caught in a traffic stop in Pangasinan province on Wednesday, the police said in a statement.
The officer reported the driver of the car was a female and had a large quantity of marijuana, the officer said.
Suryara was arrested and charged with trafficking in narcotics, the statement said.
She was held overnight and released on bail.
