From the time you were four, until now.
You started learning at the age of six and, from your very first lessons, your future was bright.
Now, six years later, you are a teacher and have been since 2010.
But the world is changing fast and the world of teaching is changing.
The world of education is changing too.

What are some of the challenges teachers are facing?
Teaching is expensive and it is difficult to attract the best teachers.
There are many issues facing teachers.
One of the biggest is the cost of paying for tuition.
For example, for those in their 20s, the average cost of a college degree in the US is $24,000.
That is a $1,400 increase from the year before.
The other big issue facing teachers is that the quality of instruction is getting worse, not better.
More and more teachers are working in schools that are not designed for students.
Many of the teachers we know are teaching students who are less likely to have good test scores, which leads to less quality instruction.
There is also a growing number of children who are struggling to stay on track in school and in their lives.
How can we help teachers improve their teaching?
Teachers can work with their peers, their parents and school leaders to help them make the most of the time they have to work.
Teachers can also take part in initiatives like the Teach First programme, where they get help from a mentor to help get them through the difficult time.
It is also important for teachers to understand how to improve their classroom culture.
When you are doing your job, it is important that you do not take your career for granted.
